MASSFLAG Summer Showdown

For the 4th year in a row the MASSFLAG League is hosting the Summer Showdown tournament, formally known as the “Summer Slam” tournament. Teams from all over MA, NH and PA attend the tournament each summer. We offer multiple divisions for all levels of teams and a Womens division.

The tournament entry fee is $250 which includes minimum 4 games, (every teams makes the playoffs) ref fees, Championship rings for the “A” division and apparel for all other divisions.

This years location is slated for Lynn English High school on Sunday, July 9th, from 9am-3pm.

CCFL’s  Boston Fives is a tournament style league for Flag Football players of Greater Boston. It is open to adult men and women played under specifically designed rules for fast action play. It is an annual flag football event organized in partnership with the various flag football leagues throughout New England.

The inaugural season’s goal is to have a minimum of 8 to 16 teams that participate in flag football programs from the area and beyond. The teams are divided into 2 to 4 pools of four teams, who play a round-robin within the pool. These pools of four will change from satellite tournament date and will repeat until each team plays a minimum of 12 games.

Depending on the number of teams and competition level, there will be 1 to 3 divisions. I am hoping to recruit competitive teams form other parts of New England.

The Boston Fives Championship Main Event will be held at the end of August which will crown the best 5 v 5 team in Boston.
